Donna Hi! I am so excited for you! Let me tell you how I got started and then you'll know why I say that. I began my journey into chiropractic when I met Dr. Laura and Dr. Mike in the spring of 1999. I came to them because I was suffering with numbness and tingling across my upper back and down into my forearm. I was scared.

From my first visit forward, they changed my life - forever! No more walking pneumonia, allergy shots or medications that seemed to be almost as bad as what I was taking them for. I was shocked - and mad! Why hadn't my 'regular' doctors known about what chiropractic could do? Why hadn't they referred me? Why? Why? Why? It's a question I hear from others who are referred here ask as well.

By August of that same year, I was invited to become a part of this great chiropractic family and I soon found myself in the position I have held for eight years now; New Patient Coordinator. It is my pleasure to help people make as smooth a transition from the old sickness model of health care as possible.

The old model goes like this... wait until something happens like pain that won't go away, or a cough that just seems to get worse than the last time -- that's what sickness care is; waiting until it's so bad that life stops because of it. Watching people shift into the Wellness Care model of health is exciting! That's what happened to my family.

I feel so completely blessed that I am a part of a Center in which I get to see how chiropractic and healthy living choices can change lives, from newborns through the golden years, every day here is amazing.

I get to wake up everyday and be excited about going to work - going to a place where I get to make a difference in people's lives and where those lives are changed for the better.

I have been married to my best friend for almost 28 years. We have two grown children, two grandchildren, two dogs, two desert tortoises and we have all lived here in Simi Valley for the past 28 years. I am so proud of being a part of this practice and I look forward to helping you to a better, more productive, healthy life through chiropractic care -- just like mine!

I began telling my family, not just the ones that lived inside my four walls, but I mean, my entire family. They got on purpose with chiropractic as well. Life is really good when everything you do supports your dreams and mine has come true. How about you? These doctors can help. I've seen the results over and over again.
